Extra EU Imports

Goods purchased by San Marino operators in Countries not belonging to the European Union and intended for import into the Republic of San Marino must carry out customs import formalities, (pursuant to Decree no. 50 dated 24.03.1993) at Italian customs points certified for the Republic of San Marino, i.e.:

- ANCONA: Ancona Customs Office; territorial operational section of Falconara airport;

- BOLOGNA: Bologna Customs Office; territorial operational section of the airport «G. Marconi »;

- FORLÌ: Forlì-Cesena customs office; «Ridolfi» airport operational section;

- GENOA: Genoa Customs Office; territorial operational section Passo Nuovo; territorial operational section of Voltri; airport territorial operational section;

- GIOIA TAURO: Customs Office of Gioia Tauro;

- LA SPEZIA: La Spezia Customs Office;

- LIVORNO: Livorno Customs Office;

- MILAN: Varese Customs Office; Malpensa territorial operational section;

- ORIO AL SERIO: Bergamo Customs Office; territorial operational section of Orio al Serio;

- RAVENNA: Ravenna Customs Office; territorial operational section of San Vitale;

- RIMINI: Rimini Customs Office; territorial operational section of the airport «F. Fellini ";

- ROME: Rome II Customs Office; Fiumicino operational area;

- TARANTO: Taranto Customs Office;

- TRIESTE: Trieste Customs Office; territorial operational section of Industrial Port; territorial operational section of Punto Franco Vecchio; territorial operational section of Punto Franco Nuovo;

- VENICE: Venice Customs Office; territorial operational section of Interporto; Portogruaro territorial operational section;

which, once having carried out free circulation procedures on behalf of the Republic of San Marino, will issue community transit document T2 NCTS, which will accompany the goods as far as San Marino.

Upon arrival of the goods, the San Marino operator immediately contacts the goods control and inspection body, the Guardie di Rocca.

After making the necessary inspections, the Guardie di Rocca, in order to correctly execute customs import formalities, regulate the entry of the goods and process the incoming flow in the NCTS system.
The operator can only freely dispose of the goods after receiving a regular goods entry visa from the Guardie di Rocca.
